Claudio is a coach at Bohemian Fitness with nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and a lifelong passion for strength, performance, and personal development.

His background spans multiple disciplines, beginning with football, where he competed at a semi-professional level, before transitioning into combat sports. Claudio trained and competed in Muay Thai and kickboxing before later moving into bodybuilding.

As a natural athlete in a sport often dominated by enhanced competitors, Claudio achieved several podium finishes, including a second-place result in the light heavyweight category at the RIBBF Spring Classic.

Claudio now focuses on Strongman, where he actively competes and continues to develop his strength and skill. He has placed in numerous competitions and is currently working toward competing in Ireland’s Strongest Man in the natural under-90kg category.

Alongside his athletic career, Claudio holds a degree in Business and Sports Management from AIT, a first-class honours NCEF qualification from the University of Limerick, and several additional fitness certifications. This combination allows him to take a structured, personalised approach to coaching.

Coaching philosophy

Training should be purposeful, progressive, and tailored to the individual. Claudio believes in building strength and confidence through consistent work, good technique, and clear goals that fit real life.
